Howdy!

We’re Troy and Lora Miller, proud parents of Isaac and Naomi. While we’re happy to be Iowa’s oldest “Make it, Take it, Bake it” (since June, 2004) the inspiration for starting Naomi’s Kitchen came from the desire to start a family business that would increase our own family time. Likewise, we hope to save you time by providing very tasteful meals at a fantastic price. Whether you come in and ‘Make it’ during a Session, or order a Pick-Up, we take our obligation to serve you very seriously. We encourage you to ask around about us; word-of-mouth advertising is our preferred method!

When you visit Naomi’s Kitchen, you’ll notice that we’re not a franchise. That means that we are able to make our own rules, such as using local fresh-cut meat. We also set our own menu monthly, and we’re flexible enough to change on a dime. When we say that our entrees feed six, then you’ll actually receive enough food to feed six real people. For example, you’ll receive 6 chops when you purchase a Regular order of Sesame Pork Chops.

It’s also highly likely that you’ll meet one of us on site because our home is attached to our historic 100+ year-old facility. While we find it difficult to separate work from home at times, we also realize that it’s the little things such as living on site that have allowed us to better serve our customers.

If you’re feeling sad for our son Isaac because his sister Naomi has a business named after her, please don’t dwell on it. Isaac’s Creamery opened in a branch of our historic facility in the summer of 2007. Isaac’s Creamery sells locally-made hard scoop ice cream. Our ice cream is creamy and dreamy, and worth the drive to North Liberty.

In short, we thank you for supporting us, “the little guy.” You help us provide the necessities for our family, and that is a blessing to us.

Best Regards,
Troy, Lora, Isaac, and Naomi Miller
